The AirMod Wireless Adapter is a great attachment for the Beats Solo 2. The Beats Solo two has great sound and bass, but the long wire that comes with it is annoying and inconvenient. This adapter allows you to keep your perfectly fine Beats Solo 2, and make them wireless. This 5$ item can save you from buying a new wireless pair of beats for up to 230$! Here are some of the pros and cons of this item:
Look: This Adapter is pretty low profile, so you can still feel stylish while wearing an older set of Beats. Some people don’t like the adapter because they feel that it is too obvious that you are being cheap and not buying a nicer pair of beats, but I personally like my old beats and think this adapter is awesome.
Sound: I actually thought that the sound quality of my beats slightly improved with this adapter. It might just be all mental, but the sound quality and the noise level seemed to increase with the adapter. It definitely seemed better than the card did.
Charge: The adapter charges pretty quickly and holds its charge for almost eight hours! The box said it holds its charge for seven hours of use, but it lasted longer than that for me, which was a happy surprise. The one downside is that the charging cord is very short, which can be inconvenient.
Controls and Setup: The adapter has a very easy power button and + – volume control. I didn’t need to look at the manual at all in order to set up the adapter. I just turned it on and looked at my iphone and the device name popped up and it connected immediately. There was no problems at all.
Conclusion: Overall I am very happy with this product. It has allowed me to keep my old beats and has even improved their quality. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has an old pair of wired beats and is sick of the long cord.
