Preschool has play-based learning that incorporates manipulative "jobs"
designed to help children in learning skills and concepts.
Throughout the year students progress to working with numbers and letters
in preparation for Junior Kindergarten.

The Junior Kindergarten (JrK) classroom integrates play-based learning
with the Abeka JrK curriculum to help prepare children
for the Abeka Kindergarten curriculum the following year.
The JrK classroom is designed specifically for students who
plan to enter kindergarten the next year. There is a concentrated
focus on letter/number identification with increased handwriting
and listening skills.

The Kindergarten classroom focuses on letters/sounds extending
to short/long vowels, digraphs and r controlled words.
There is a goal of fluent reading in the second half of the year.

2 full days
Monday & Friday
8 am - 3 pm

Students in Kindergarten who would like to be in school on Monday and/or Friday
|
While all direct kindergarten instruction occurs during regular
Kindergarten on Tuesday to Thursday, Kinderplus is an optional
program where time is spent on things such as classroom projects,
art making, creative games and homework help.

| Extended Care |
As needed Monday to Friday for hours not in class from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Any enrolled student in Preschool, Junior Kindergarten, or Kindergarten.
|
An option to help parents who would like care before or after normal
school hours on Tuesday-Thursday or extra care on Monday and Friday.
