Details on Raise The Region
A win-win situation...

Raise the Region is an initiative to encourage the community to give to local charities, NCS being one of them.

Giving is done via the Raise the Region website by credit cardit during the set 30 hour period.

While Raise the Region does charge an administrative fee to NCS, this is more than offset by the percentage added to your donation from the portion of the $150,000 Blaise Alexander gift that is split between all contributions. The past few years your donations have seen a net increase to NCS of 7% - 10%!

Another advantage to Raise the Region is that there are numerous prizes of $1,000 or more that can be won by organizations. NCS will target several of these. We will include the prizes we are targeting in the reminder email that we send out the week of Raise The Region.

Giving via Raise the Region can also have the extra small benefit to donors since instead of giving by check, donors give by credit cards, many of which offer rewards.

Please note that while NCS is given the amounts each donor contributes, since Raise The Region issues tax receipts, we are instructed not to give a 2nd tax receipt for Raise the Region contributions.
